I honed my ear through rhythms of music and writing (from age
five to adulthood) before making the leap that 'went visual.'
Once I became a full-time fine art photographer, the niche
seems to have found me.
Dreams, which formerly rewrote and replayed scenes
overnight, now fill my sleep with images -- sometimes found
and captured in later photographs. Mixed colors, forms and
locations fill imagination's sub-conscience and waking
thoughts.
Unique art requires a 24/7 pursuit and I wouldn't want it any
other way. Lessons learned from honing the 'eye,' especially
with photography, almost demand that.
I explore natural images, black & white representations,
unexpected portraits and digital manipulations. I wait for the
beauty to pull me, knowing each step can not be forced.
